Meet the Team: Andrew Abraham, Venture Intern

Growth Warrior Capital has a new intern! Andrew collaborates on projects across the fund, from research and writing for one of our studio companies, to strategic initiatives for our Platform and portcos. We met him through a UT program called Bridge Venture Fellowship, where he demonstrated a distinct grasp of Economic Sovereignty and his commitment to furthering our vision.

Welcome to the team, Andrew!

My name is Andrew Abraham and I am an upcoming senior in Finance at The University of Texas at Austin. Outside of the classroom, I am the founder of AACuts LLC, a mens barber business that serves the Austin community, the co-founder of Solipsis, an herbal smokes company that aims to displace the marijuana and tobacco market share with a nicotine/THC alternative, and the co-host of Innovators Inc, a podcast that delivers business insights from founders and investors. In my free time, I enjoy  studying philosophy/world religions and the great outdoors through hiking, camping and paddle boarding.

As a South Indian and minority, I have always been attuned to the challenges faced by underrepresented communities. As an aspiring venture capitalist and entrepreneur, I am committed to investing in underrepresented minority and women entrepreneurs who have been historically overlooked and undervalued by traditional investment firms. It is for this reason I am excited to join GWC as a Venture Capital Intern, on its mission to create a more equitable future.
